Can I choose the books that are going to compose the Books Box?
No, the concept of our Books Boxes is based on the surprise. The books are selected by our team based on the answers you provided to the questionnaire. Fill in the language, age and interests of the Books Box recipient. With this information, we will be able to choose the best book for your Books Box! Still need to be convinced? Check out the questionnaire before purchasing your Books Box ;)
What if I doesn't like one of the items / books you selected?
To ensure that the books meet your expectations, fill in the questionnaire with as much information as you need. But tastes and colors are in nature, and we understand that a book may not be suitable for your taste or situation. Should this happen, please have a look at our conditions and contact us if needed via our contact form.
What if I already have the title your sent me in my bookshelf?
Ah, surprises! If you have received a book that you already had in your collection, we imagine two options. If you liked the book, you can give it as a gift to someone close to you. If not, please contact us via our contact form.
Can I offer the Books Box to someone else?
Of course, many of you offer book boxes to your godchildren, nephews and nieces, children and grandchildren but also to your friends. You can give a different delivery address
What's in my Books Box?
Your box contains products and elements chosen to measure for the receiver: it contains at least 1 book and 1 associated game as well as a personalized message. To discover the contents of each box, please consult this page.
Can I subscribe to a monthly Books Box?
This option is not yet available from the website, but we are working on it and we would be delighted to be able to offer you this service. Are you subscribed to our newsletter? If so, you can contact us via our contact form.
Our family speaks 2 languages at home. Can I mix the languages?
Each book is carefully selected by our team of booksellers, and we can mix the following languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian and Turkish. You can specify the languages and ages of the readers in the order questionnaire.

Do you offer Books Boxes for adults?
Everyone has their place in the totem community. Whatever your age, we will do our best to find the comic that will satisfy you! The MoJo Box has been designed for adults and contains 1 graphic novel, 1 Founded House notebook, 3 postcards and an organic tea or coffee bag from Coffee Circle. You can find the MoJo Box here.
What kind of books can I find in my Books Box?
Our bookshop has been in business since 2017 and we have built our catalogue on the basis of literary and artistic creation. Our selection for children and adults is made from independent publishing houses (as well as the main ones) to promote young authors and illustrators, and evolves over time, depending on the literary releases!

I live abroad. To which countries do you deliver?
At the moment our boxes are prepared in Berlin, Germany, where the totem bookstore was founded, and we deliver daily all over the world. If the postal services can deliver a parcel to you, then you will be able to receive our books. To find out more about delivery costs, you can read the question "I live abroad. When you receive your order confirmation, the amount of your order will include the actual shipping costs. When you proceed to payment, please make sure you include them. I live in Berlin, can I pick-up my Books Box?
Yes, it's totally possible! When you order your Books Box, select the delivery option "pick-up on site". You will receive via e-mail an access to our online agenda to choose a time slot to pick up your Books Box!

What currency do you accept?
We only accept payments in Euro.
Can I get a refund?
If your box has been paid for but not yet shipped, you have 3 days to cancel your purchase. You can contact us via our contact form or by email, responding to the order confirmation you received. If you have already received your box, please consult our conditions here.
